You picked an interesting topic. What type of videos will you have? Have you identified any video shots yet. I think that is the hardest part. Will you be discussing any theorist? Mezirow, for example?
I have two comments. It seems like adult learners in distance education as a topic is too broad, but on the plus side you will be able to fill up 5 minutes. Is there are particular area that you might narrow your topic to? Dropout rates? My other comment is related to your last slide, which seems to change topics from adult learners to the future of distance learning. I hope these comments help. The first draft is the hardest for me. I look forward to seeing your finished product.
My topic seems to be related to yours. I think your topic as an introduction or influence for returning to college followed by my disussion on face-to-face v online settings would work great for a workshop or discussion group. I like your idea of running short shots of background pictures for your presentation. I had planned to include video dialogue and data charts. I might rethink that idea.
